The cost of in-home care varies from client to client. Your out of pocket costs for in-home care will depend on a number of factors: • The type of service provided • The amount of hours the service was provided for • Whether you are a privately funded client or have a Home Care Package or NDIS funding. There are no set minimum or maximum hours for in-home care services. Depending on your needs, a carer can visit your home from a couple of hours to 24 hours a day. Care can be scheduled on a permanent or casual, as-needed basis.

If you have applied for a Government Home Care Package,(https://www.justforucare.com.au/homecarepackages) the wait time for approval is usually between 3-12 months depending on the level of the package.
